Method
- 1Squeeze grated lauki gently (do not press dry).
- 2Heat ghee, fry nuts and raisins; remove.
- 3Add lauki, stir 5 min till raw smell goes.
- 4Pour milk, gently bubble 25 min stirring, till milk reduces and lauki cooks.
- 5Stir in sugar, gently bubble 5 min till halwa pulls from sides.
- 6Cardamom + nuts on top; serve warm.
About this recipe
Use coconut yoghurt + oil instead of ghee/curd to make vegan.
