Method
- 1Beat besan, water, turmeric, ajwain, salt into a thin batter.
- 2Stir in onion, tomato, chilli and coriander.
- 3Heat a tawa, drizzle a few drops of oil.
- 4Dip bread slices in batter coating both sides.
- 5Place on tawa, cook 90 seconds per side till deeply golden.
- 6Dust chaat masala; serve hot with green chutney — Mumbai breakfast in 12 minutes.
