Method
- 1Whisk bajra flour into 0.5 cup cold water until smooth.
- 2Bring remaining water to a simmer; pour in the slurry, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
- 3Cook 6 min until thickened.
- 4Add plant milk, jaggery, ginger, pepper, salt and ghee; bubble 3 min and serve warm.
About this recipe
Uses oat or coconut milk instead of dairy; both work.
